We are located in a quiet area close to nature and trails. Several museums are just a tramride away. Being on the westcoast we have so many places along the ocean to visit. And of course you cant miss our seafood and fish. Gothenburg is one of those cities that you fall in love with as soon as you arrive. It is the slower, more friendly big Swedish city. You will find cafes on every corner and parks spanning most of the land. Gothenburg is located on the South West coast of Sweden and known for its big harbour and industrial past. Although in recent years it has established itself as a centre for art and culture. It is the perfect destination for anyone wanting a city escape mixed with a little island life. For a novel crime-scene setting, visit the dream-like fishing village of Fjällbacka, made-famous as the setting for Camilla Läckberg’s crime novels.
Just north of Göteborg, Bohuslän is a stunningly beautiful region with a jagged coastline dotted with picturesque villages and historic sites. By highway, it’s just two hours from Göteborg to the Norwegian border, but taking your time on the smaller roads along the coast quickly reveals why this is one of Sweden’s most popular summer vacation areas.
