"The flat was absolutely beautiful and Leonidas and his brother were constantly helpful and quick to respond with recommendations / organising things for me. They were fantastic hosts and I'd absolutely recommend people stay with them."

"An amazing superelegant penthouse. Vassilis is the perfect guest. The flat is not so central, but well connected with bus and taxi are cheap and the neighbourhood is full of bars and tabernas."

"A friendly and well-communicative host to this well-designed and maintained apartment.
The ground floor apartment contains all that you would need for a short stay in Athens, as well as surprising (but nice!) add-ons such as the coffee machine.
Location: this is a safe, leafy and friendly street, with families and friends gathering until the early morning for coffee or a drink. There's a great cafe next door too. The public transport options require a bit of navigating, depending what area of the city you are trying to get to. But there is a good bus service to get to the main tourist areas and beyond, as well as a metro that is a 20 minute walk. However, late into the evening you will likely need to get a taxi, although these are often quite cheap from the city. It is easier to download FreeNow (Taxi app) or similar service to use during your stay."

"This place is absolutely AMAZING and must be one of the best kept secrets on this website! I HIGHLY recommend it. Four friends of mine and I decided to stay in Athens for three nights prior to embarking on a cruise. I chose this property because of the inviting photographs and its perfect location right in the heart of the Gazi neighborhood, and Iâm so glad I did! The local metro and numerous great restaurants/gay bars are all within a short walking distance, and what I loved most is that the neighborhood felt safe, authentic and NOT like a typical tourist trap. The penthouse itself is beautiful, spacious, and IMMACULATE! It comes with everything you need to enjoy your stay. It has a fully equipped kitchen; linen closet stocked with plenty of clean fresh smelling towels and linens; a compact washer/dryer, fireplace, and a jacuzzi on the terrace (with a direct view of the Parthenon) are all at your disposal. The two full bathrooms are well-appointed and absolutely gorgeous with walk-in shower units and plenty of shelving/storage areas for your cosmetics/toiletries. The high-speed WIFI worked perfectly supporting all of us collectively without any interruption. I must say that the beds were the BEST part of our stayâlarge, plush and extremely comfy. Even the sleeper sofa in the living room was comfortable! Access in and out of the penthouse was a breeze thanks to a key-less entry system we could operate on our phones and the surrounding neighbors were quiet and respectful. Of course, being in the heart of Gazi, we expected to hear music from the nearby bars at night. However, it was tolerable and did not negatively affect our stay at all. Lastly, our hosts Jeff and Katerina were tremendousâwelcoming, friendly and very gracious. They greeted us on our first day and helped to make sure our stay was wonderful by providing some helpful recommendations, offers to make transportation arrangements and terrific recommendations for dinner/drinks and sightseeing. I canât say enough positive things about our stay, our hosts, and the incredible time my friends and I had during our stay at this property. "

"The hotel is in an excellent location, not far from the Acropolis and very near many good restaurants and shops. Konstantina was very gracious, and my room was very nice and clean. There was even a bottle of wine to welcome me! I would recommend the Unique, Quirky, Quiet Hotel to other travelers seeking a nice place to stay while in Athens."

"Particularly well-situated location in a Greek neighborhood, the shops, restaurants and bars are frequented only by Greeks, and the prices are fair and not geared towards tourists. The studio has everything you need to feel comfortable and nothing is missing in terms of daily necessities. Elias, who was my contact, is very communicative and very friendly. He does everything to make you feel comfortable and is very discreet if you don't need anything. I spent an evening on the rooftop terrace with other guests, Martin who speaks French, Elias too, it was unforgettable and a very pleasant evening with a very nice temperature. So I highly recommend it and I will definitely come back to continue discovering Athens which I particularly love and to continue exploring the Greek islands."
