Nearby Finnieston is often referred to as the "hippest place in Britain". With its plethora of trendy bars, classy restaurants, shops & even a concert venue, there is plenty to see & do. Our recommendations are: Bar - 'The Variety' is a local trendy bar with a diverse crowd. Restaurant - 'Porter & Rye' in Finnieston is a great place to get a top quality piece of cooked meat. Others - 'The SSE Hydro' is minutes away and is quickly becoming one of Scotland's premier music venues. The flat has Glasgow's best restaurants and bars on its doorstep and is ideally positioned close to the West End within walking distance of Charing Cross train station. You can also walk to the popular Byres Rd, the SSE Hydro for gigs and SEC Exhibition centre no trouble at all. You have access to the M8 motorway which is minutes from the flat and can take to Edinburgh and beyond - although there is unfortunately no parking with the rental. There are local buses running along Sauchiehall St that can take you all over the city centre.
