Suite La Campagna - Olive trees, rosemary and oleander bushes: all the beauty of the Ligurian countryside spreads out right in front of “La Campagna.” Just a few steps down from the terrace and private garden of this suite you will find our wellness area with sauna, outside shower, foot bath and a miniature "sitting"-pool. From the living room, where a wood burning stove creates a cozy atmosphere during the cooler part of the year, you have beautiful views over the valley. The bedroom is located in the back part of the unit right next to a typical, picturesque Italian courtyard. “La Campagna” is part of the oldest wing of Villa Barca and the rustic, ancient beams of the living room give testimony to the antique history of this place.
In the morning breakfast, featuring local ingredients from nearby growers and farms, is served on our grand terrace or in the comfortable dining area next to the massive, old fireplace.
A unique part of Villa Barca is the old church that sits adjacent to the main building. Erected in the 1700s and modernized by the original owner of the Villa it is now hosting our "room of stillness". A quiet place to meditate, practice Yoga or just enjoy the luxury of tranquility. You can also schedule energy treatments such as Reiki and other holistic treatments during your stay to enhance the perfect balance of body and mind.
Relaxation with a view: That’s what our guest can expect in our tranquil sauna-garden. Whether dozing in the sun, taking a refreshing footbath, an energizing shower in our grotto, or soaking in our plunge pool - you will always have commanding views of the valley down to the Mediterranean sea. A perfect place to just enjoy life and let go. For colder days our Finnish sauna along with some herbal infusions will make you feel revived and rejuvenated.

Just 20 minutes by car are the sandy beaches of Alassio, one of Italy's most mundane seaside resorts. The Lerrone Valley offers all kinds of outdoor activities, from hiking and mountain biking to laid-back picknick hours. For the more leisurely tourist the Ligurian coast shows itself as a true treasure box: cozy little seaside towns, steep mountain passes that lead to old, medieval villages and the famous Via Aurelia that brings you straight to the chic Corniche of France's Cote d 'Azur, where you can explore along the road famous places like Menton, Monte Carlo and Nice.
After a day full of activities VILLA BARCA awaits its guests with the unique atmosphere that this B&B has to offer. The Villa sits on 15.000 square meters of Mediterranean garden and olive growth. On clear days we can see across the Mediterranean sea and look as far as La Spezia and Cinque Terre on the other side of the Golf of Genua.

Arrival
Check-In time: 2pm – 8pm (If you are arriving after 8pm, please call to advise us of your arrival time).
Check-Out time for guests and their cars is at 11am. Late Check-Out may be arranged if available.
Parking
We do offer off-street parking with a limit of one car per room. Parking your car at the Casa Carpe Diem B&B is at your own risk. We cannot be held responsible for damages inflicted to your car while staying at our guest house.
Minimum Stay Requirements
During the season the minimum stay is 3 nights.
Rates, Deposit and Payments
All rates are subject to change without notice and include applicable room taxes and fees. Rates are quoted in Euros (€) for single or double occupancy of a suite per night.
- A 30% deposit is required for all stays of 2 nights and longer.
- 100% deposit is required for one-night stays.
We accept payment by Visa or MC for deposit.
The balance of the total stay is due upon arrival by Visa/MC, Traveler's Checks or Cash.
Cancellation Policy
- For reservations cancelled or amended more than 28 calendar days prior to arrival, the deposit will be refunded minus a 10% cancellation fee (at least 25€ per room).
- For cancellations made between 27 and 7 calendar days prior to arrival, 50% of the total charges will be applied.
- For cancellations made less than 7 calendar days prior to arrival, no show or shortening of stays*, 100% of the total will be charged.
* No refund for early departures.
