¡Tal como se describió! No tuvimos mucho tiempo para intercambiar, pero sin queja, todo estuvo bien, pero no en el área Centro como ya se mencionó. Gracias de nuevo a Jose.

Ubicación agradable, no en el mero centro, pero a una distancia caminable del centro histórico y la estación de tren. He tenido una experiencia general muy buena y puedo imaginarme volviendo algún día en el futuro.

Jose is a great host, easy to communicate with - even though I had to use internet translations for anything more than my basic language skill! The apartment is exactly s described and excellent value for a single traveler who is able to be totally independent. The location is totally fine except a bit further from the centre than I expected; about a 40 or 45 minute walk and about 30 or 35 minutes to the closest beach. Of course Malaga has good public transport, and taxis (I landed after midnight, and the taxi was €24, by the way) but it took me a while to work out what worked best for me. I like to walk, anyway - you see so much more of a city that way! The bed was comfortable, Jose was happy for me to use the kitchen (and he made me an excellent cup of coffee each morning- thanks, Jose!), and the guest room is at the back of the apartment, so nice and quiet even with the window permanently open in the warm nights. Neighbours could be heard from time to time, but not enough to cause disturbance. Note that the apartment does not have aircon, but the bedroom has a good fan. Top tip - get Jose to show you how the front door to the apartment unlocks! The spare key he gave me was OK once I had learned exactly how to use it, and when to wriggle the door handle to get the latch to yield; it always worked, but caused a little frustration at first, that's all! Overall, highly recommended, just having in mind the location and transport links.
