It has room for 2 guests, making it a great size for couples wishing to escape the intense heat of Kalkan/Kas in the summer or a warm retreat or magical escape in the winter with friends, or family. The chalet's design takes a contemporary approach without losing the unspoilt feeling of a mountain chalet embedded within a luscious forest, half way between Kalkan and Kas
The kitchen is open to the living room, where there is also a sofa. Stairs lead to the sleeping platform with one double bed. The outdoor platform invites you to linger in the fresh air, and admire the scenic valley views and in the distance the Mediterranean sea. A great space which will help create a cheerful atmosphere. Beyond the platform is a swimming pool and an an expansive garden area.
You have access to the whole house with garden and outdoor spaces alone, including the swimming pool.

KALKAN
As a retreat from the rigours of modern life, Kalkan is little short of idyllic!
Nestled around a sheltered natural harbour at the foot of the majestic Taurus Mountains, this unspoilt historic town overlooks a bay of breathtaking beauty.
A thriving Greek fishing village called Kalamaki until the 1920s; Kalkan is now largely devoted to high-end tourism.
Look out for Kalkan's charms in the compact old town including the picturesque harbour, shops, and various eateries including cafés, bars and fine dining restaurants.
The town is well served by banks and supermarkets. There is a large Thursday market in town and a smaller local market in the neighbouring village of Akbel on a Sunday.
The harbour area caters for all, including a small pebble beach, beach clubs (many of which can be reached by a frequent boat shuttle service); watersports clubs; and not forgetting the very popular past-time of a day at sea.
If you wish to venture beyond Kalkan, a visit to Kas (20min drive) would be highly recommended or to Fethiye, which is very popular for shopping.
LYCIAN WAY
The Lycian Way is a 540 km, 29-day way-marked footpath around the coast of Lycia in southern Turkey, from Fethiye to Antalya. The trail consists mainly of Roman roads, old footpaths and mule trails, often hard and stony underfoot, not suitable for mountain bikes. Lying between the coast and mountains, it often has steep gradients. It was researched, designed and waymarked by Kate Clow, a British/Turkish amateur historian, in 1999. Turkey’s first long-distance walking route, it was made in order to identify and protect some of Turkey’s old roads.
Accessibility will require a car/transfer (if coming from an airport). There is plenty of parking on-site. Access is via private gate.
