Half of Las Vegas new High Roller already up in the air

Already half of the structure is now assembled: as of mid-August, the largest observation wheel in the world, scheduled to open late 2013 is taking shape on the Las Vegas Strip! The so-called High Roller will be the most visible part of a huge complex called the LINQ.

Located just in front of Caesar Palace, the $ 550 million project includes a huge outdoor shopping center, more than 10,000 hotel rooms, twenty restaurants and bars, a dozen places dedicated to shopping and leisure .

The 550 feet high observation wheel will be 100 feet higher than the London Eye. It will feature 28 glass cabins, each accommodating up to 40 people, also booked for private events. Prepare for stunning views of Las Vegas once at the top! A complete revolution will take 30 minutes. The High Roller could attract 4 to 5 million visitors in its first year.
