Gay Ski: 7 reasons to join the European Gay Ski Week

A key event in the annual calendar of gay ski events, the European Gay Ski Week will take place from March 21 to 28, in the resort of Avoriaz, in the French Alps. Here are 7 reasons to participate in this international gay event.

1 - Accommodation
From 2 to 5 stars, you will find a wide selection of accommodation t for all budgets. Prices range from studios for 91 euros per person for 7 nights to luxury apartment from 949 euros per person for 7 nights.

2 - The resort
Avoriaz, located at 1800 meters above sea level, in Morzine, France, is a pedestrian resort, with a no car policy. It is located in the heart of the Portes du Soleil ski resort, between France and Switzerland. The Portes du Soleil are considered as one of the largest ski resorts in the world with 650 kilometers of slopes. The station was named the snowiest resort in France by weathertoski.co.uk and the Financial Times in 2013.

3 - Activities
You don’t ski? You won’t get bored. The resort offers a multitude of activities for non-skiers. Looking for thrills ? Try the snow mountain biking, skydiving, scuba diving under ice or night tobogganing. You like nature? Try snowshoeing, dog sledding, Nordic walking or snow scooter. You just wish to relax? Enjioy Avoriaz’s spas and Aquariaz, the resort’s aquatic center, which will host two pool parties during the European Gay Ski Week.

4 - After-ski
After a day of sports or activities, it’s time to relax: cocktails, DJs, crazy atmosphere on the terrace of the Bistro, daily from 16h to 18h45.

5 - Clubbing
The European Gay Ski Week, always comes with big gay clubbing nights and international gay DJs from around the world. This year for example, Pagano (UK), Paul Heron (UK), Chris Bekker (DE) Elof de Neve (BE), Dan Murphy (AU) or Raph (Beardrop, Paris)

6 - Shows
The European Gay Ski Week offers more than clubbing: enjoy cabaret shows (La Diva Live, Burlesque, Courtney Act etc.) and performers who will host the parties.
