Deciding where to stay while you’re visiting a new city is never easy, but you’ve come to the right place! While traveling through gay Mexico City, we recommend staying in Zona Rosa, the city’s gayborhood, but other nearby zones like Roma, Colonia Condesa, and Polanco are also great for gay visitors.
Gay Mexico: Zona Rosa
Right in the heart of the gay district is Hotel Plaza Florencia, a lovely hotel with stunning floor-to-ceiling windows and an attentive and affable staff. Another favorite nearby the Zona Rosa is Hotel Del Principado, a newly remodeled hotel with a fun pop art flair and modern amenities. If you’re looking for a little more space, be sure to check out Casa Mannach. The hotel hosts apartment-style suites that make you feel like a local.
Condesa and Roma
The cutest boutique hotel in the area is Condesa DF. With a vibrant, modern theme, and a gorgeous rooftop patio, you won’t ever want to leave this home away from home! Feel like you’re staying with friends at The Red Tree House. This B&B is decorated in a blend of modern and traditional Mexican decor and its bright, airy rooms really do feel like a treehouse! Condesa Haus is another popular B&B in Condesa, but this one is strictly gay-owned and caters exclusively to LGBT visitors.
Looking for something a bit more familiar, fancy pants? The W Mexico City is located in the Polanco. On top of its luxury amenities, the hotel looks like a brilliant modern art museum and has a world-class spa.
