We are in Atwater Village which Conde Nast called the hippest neighborhood in L.A. We are steps to everything! Safe, quiet area & plentiful parking. 10 minutes to Hollywood/Downtown LA/Burbank, 20 minutes to Universal Studios, 1 hour to Disneyland.
Cook lovely meals in our fully stocked kitchen, barbecue on the grill or walk to the best restaurants & cafes in all of Los Angeles. You will find an inviting patio for outdoor eating or sitting with a glass of wine at night while the fairy lights sparkle overhead. Of course the patio is great for catching some sun, too!
Everything you need is here. We also have free laundry facilities for your convenience.
The living room, dining room and kitchen are downstairs. The living room has a Queen-sized futon with 8" innerspring mattress.
Upstairs are two bedrooms & one full bath.
One bedroom is equipped with a Cal King bed, and the other offers a full-sized bed with a twin-sized trundle bed.
Fresh linens & toiletries are provided.
Ample, permit-free street parking.
Extra cleaning fee for dogs, depending on length of stay.
37" TV, Apple TV, cable TV, high-speed internet, Netflix are all included.
For international travelers, my wife is fluent in German and speaks conversational French. We are dog lovers, and although we do allow dogs, we require a pet cleaning fee depending on breed and length of stay.
It is unrestricted street parking. Most nights our guests park right in front to the house. You'll never have to park too far away. The city does do street cleaning two mornings a week on either side of the street, so you're not allowed to park between 8 and 10am on Thursday morning on our side, and Friday morning on the opposite side of the street.
We do allow guests to use our driveway when parking is tight.
If you are flying into LAX and you arrive between 3 and 7PM on a weekday, we highly recommend stopping for dinner somewhere (Marina Del Rey or Culver City is nice) or simply just spend some time somewhere near LAX. Then drive to our place around 7:30 PM. It will make a huge difference in the amount of time you spend in traffic.
There is a bus stop at the end of our street, approximately a 3 minute walk. Also, the Glendale Metrolink / Amtrack is about a 5 minute drive.
Easy access to the 5, 2, 110, and 134 freeway, each less than 2 miles away, if not closer.
