My house is just in the walking distance from the vibrant square of Leidseplein, one of the biggest centers of the city where you can find a lot of interesting places and activities to do like cafes, bars, restaurants, cinemas, theaters, clubs and concert halls, also just nearby my house lies a Museumplein, a focal point of Amsterdams biggest and most important Museums like Rijkmuseaum and Van Gogh Museum also including a large open air space, just in the proximity of Museumplein lies a 'Concertgebouw' or a concert hall. Biggest concert and party venues like Paradiso and Melkweg, The Holland casino and Amsterdam's gay street of Reguliesdwarsstraat is also in the close proximity. Vondelpark, the Amsterdams famous park is just 4 minutes walking distance from my apartment.

Everything you need like shops, supermarket etc are all just in the walking distance. There are abundant of shops and supermarkets neaby like Albert Heijn, Lidl, Jumbo, Vomar, Hema, Dirk van den broek, and numerous local shops with alot of multicultural groceries. Also closeby there is a marketplace if you fancy traditional and cheaper way.

My house is a canal house meaning is located alngside the canal where you can have a good view of the canal or even sail if you wish. I have a rubber boat btw that can take 2 people. Just below my house there are some cafes where you can also eat in or outside along the canal.
