"I recommend the place to everybody. It is located very close to the main market but in the same time you can keep your privacy. The bed is comfortable and the place has everything you need. The host is very helpful and contact with him is a real pleasure. 4 days of pure relax."

"The location is perfect, 2min walk from main square. There are plenty of restaurants and bars around. You reach the main bus and train station walking 10min. No need for bus or tram, you can walk everywhere. There are only positive feedback to say about the flat, very clean and convenient for single or couples. Marcin is very kind, he gave me all the instruction so that I could find the key easily and then came by to say hello and have a little chat with me. I'll definitely look for this flat again when coming back to Kraków :) Thanks !!"

The space
The house is 2 blocks far from Main Square which is indeed the center of this small universe (I mean Krakow). The building itself is quite new but it is located in a very old quarter. It used be surrounded by a medieval city wall until it was levelled to make space for a round park (called 'Planty').
A lovely apartment for a couple. You can dine & wine at a bar top in the kitchen or straight in bed. A flat screen tv equipped with hdmi cable (no apple adapter yet). Bathroom with a fan and a magic-flush toilet.
Guest access
The apartment as a whole is your private area. Only you have the access to your bedroom, bathroom and kitchen. You might want to know that there is a bike rental located at the same building so feel free to have a ride. You may use everything you find inside.
Interaction with guests
My job is to make you feel good. Whatever your wish is you can always share it with me. At least it makes the wish more likely to come true.
Usually I leave you the keys to the apartment at a key safe. Once your arrival time becomes soon, I send you a very detailed tutorial on how to check-in by yourself. I introduced self check-ins 2 years ago. From what I can tell it's easy and very convenient. However feel free to ask me to come and greet you in person, if you prefer it this way. I'd be happy to show you around!
At the check out I ask you to drop the keys in the same key safe.
Other things to note
Please be aware that the apartment is on the 2nd floor and there is no elevator.
The house stands in a lively area with multiple pubs within walking range. One of them is quite close to the apartment. There might be some noise coming from there, but it shouldn't bother you too much. Moreover, I leave earplugs to each of my guests just in case. You can always find them next to the bed :)

The neighborhood
The apartment is located in the central part of the city which dates back to deep medieval times. Old Town was built according to a plan made in 1253. However you can find even older parts here, which were already existing before the plan was brought to life. The royal castle for instance dates back to 11th century. The neighbourhood is filled with places to sit in, sightseeing spots and foreign languages. The medieval heart of the city has never been seriously damaged and is therefore a pearl of middle eastern Europe.
Getting around
Since you're already in the middle of the city, you don't really need any public transport. A stroll along the tiny streets next to Market Square or jogging through Planty (the park surrounding the medieval part) might be very pleasant.
However exploring further areas, let's say jewish quarter, is also very convenient. You can get there in no more than 20 mins by foot. You can always take a tram as well. The nearest stop is 'Teatr Bagatela' which you can reach in 5 mins. From there you can go in multiple directions.
Please remember, the house is inside a strict pedestrian zone. The nearest place where you can park your car is 700m far from the house (more info in a private message).
If you arrive at Krakow Airport, there is a convenient train going each half an hour to the central station. From there you can reach the house in 15 min by foot. The ticket is less than 10 zl. If your arrival is planned late in the night please send me a message and I will help you find a way to the apartment.
