The studio has a lot of daylight with high ceilings and a private bathroom. The bed measures 1.40 x 2.00 meters. The studio has a private balcony of 10 square meters.
In July & August the minimum stay is 5 nights.
In summer there are big cruise ships passing by which you can see from the studio.
The bathroom is special because of a looking through to the water side.
I have tried to put some special design furniture in the studio. I hope you will appreciate that. I have left the design furniture in its original vintage state, so if you don't know what it is it may look a little old and worn out. There are chairs by Charles & Ray Eames, a floor lamp by Elio Martinelli, a dining table by Eames, a coffee table by Eileen Gray and Dutch Design chairs by Rietveld / Gispen.
Breakfast is NOT provided.

Parking inside is available for Euro 10 a day.
The environment is really calm and quiet, just outside the center and situated in a creative and industrial area. The building is an office building with architects, graphic designers and photographers. Only at the top floor there are apartments.
There are a few really nice restaurants and a bakery serving breakfast on walking distance.
The Shopping district on the Haarlemmerdijk is very nice with the Saturday market at Jordaan.
I also like the Westerpark: a cultural park with nice restaurants and coffee corners.
After a long history of industrial activity, this part of Amsterdam is going to undergo a radical transformation in the time to come. At the site where cargo ships from all over the world discharged their tree trunks a century ago, an attractive island district will arise, where Amsterdammers can live by the water.
