This large bedroom with one full size bed is located on the bottom floor of a single family brownstone. It has its own independent bathroom featuring both a walk-in shower and a bathtub. There's no one else living on that floor, and it has an independent street-level entrance. The shared kitchen and garden are on the same floor.
The brownstone is located in a quiet area of Hamilton Heights, away from the noise and crowds of midtown, yet within easy reach of Columbus Circle, which is only 2 stations away on the express line (either A or D).
I live in the third floor of the brownstone and work from home teaching (classical) music in the second floor. However, in the evenings after 8 pm and mornings prior to 10 am I do not teach if there are guests staying in order to respect their sleep.
The brownstone is drop-dead gorgeous and the price/value ratio can't be beat.
