Steffen and I live in Toronto, Ontario, and reside in a very special area of the city called Cabbagetown. We are long-time annual Puerto Vallarta vacationers and have been traveling to this magical place for over 11 years together and me since 2001.
Steffen and I are passionate travelers who love to explore the world, everywhere from Mexico to Spain to Australia - the more we can travel and see, the better life can be!
I am a born and raised Canadian and grew up in a rural area of Southwestern Ontario. I made the move to the "big city" in March 2000 and have been a Torontonian ever since! I have never forgotten my roots though and my family is near and dear to my heart, always.
Steffen was born and raised in Germany, lived in Hamburg for a short while after leaving his hometown of Schwerin. Shortly thereafter he moved to London, England and after our meeting, in Belfast Ireland, Steffen moved to Toronto and we were married in May 2008.
Next, to travel, our passions are staying healthy, physically fit, entertaining at our home with our family and friends, enjoy a night out on the town, and exploring all of the amazing things our beautiful city has to offer!
Some of our favourite things are an amazing glass of wine or prosecco, delicious cheese, and a great meal! I am a passionate lover of music and have an appreciation of everything from country to electronic music! Steffen loves a great cooking show and taking his skills to the stove or the grill! He makes a wicked German potato salad and burger!
As much as we love a night out on the town, we also can appreciate a quiet night on the couch with a good comedy and snuggling with our two Chihuahua's; Rocky and Chico.
As hosts, we are passionate about ensuring our guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay at our home as we both know how important and well-deserved your vacation and escape time should be! We are open to our guests' input and feedback on how we can continue to provide an exceptional vacation retreat!
I believe this mindset goes hand-in-hand with the motto "Treat others how you want to be treated!"
