The apartment is very close to many major tourist attractions. The Royal Mile, Holyrood Palace, the Parliament, Arthur's Seat and Princes Street are all within 10-15mins walking distance. An express bus (no. 22), 5mins walk away, will take you straight to the Royal Yacht Britannia.
There is also a buzzing nightlife in the surrounding area - I am fortunate enough to live in a side of the city going through a multi-million pound re-gentrification which is bringing lots of cool new bars and eateries to the area - especially the St James’ Centre, along Leith Walk and St Andrew's Square. Feel free to ask for recommendations prior to your arrival.
Edinburgh is a very inclusive city, but if you do feel more comfortable drinking in LGBT+ friendly pubs/bars, there are several within 5-10mins walk of the apartment including The Regent, CCs & The Street

1. Security - Always keep the apartment door closed and locked, when both inside and leaving the flat.
2. Consideration - As you are sharing the flat, please be mindful of making noise during 11pm to 7am. There is no curfew but we request, if arriving to/leaving from the flat during those hours, you try to make minimal noise. On the occasions either of us are working from home, please be aware of this & act appropriately.
3. Care - Please care for the property as you would your own. When using the kitchen, please be considerate (ie. clean up, store food properly). Shoes only need to be removed if they are dirty. If you notice guest provisions (milk, bread, toilet paper) are low/out, please just let one of us know and we will replenish them.
4. Respect - Kindly respect my neighbours, remembering not to disturb/inconvenience them during your stay.
5. Smoking - We operate a no-smoking policy in the flat & on the balcony. You are welcome to smoke on the street.
