The apartment is centrally located. It is within a block of multiple subway lines that will take you anywhere in NYC. The red line (1) is steps away (really, steps away). Plenty of galleries, restaurants and bars. The high line and Madison Square park are a couple of blocks away and I'd be happy to give you recommendations if you need any.
