Harvey Milk's apartment across the street, the legendary Castro Theater marquee, the famous rainbow-striped intersection of 18th and Castro (the heart of the gay community), and myriad shops and restaurants are all in view from your living room window!

Your private quarters include 2 rooms, connected together, and a separate PRIVATE bathroom down the hall. The rest of the house (kitchen, lounge, patio) is shared.
Your private space:
Two very large rooms connected by french parlor doors. The suite closes off from the rest of the flat for complete privacy.
The bedroom has a queen size bed, and includes closet with mini-fridge.
The living room includes a comfy rollaway single bed (if needed, otherwise stored away). The room's bay windows look out over Castro Street.
Hardwood floors throughout.
Fireplace with electric insert.
Private, modern bathroom with shower.

Just to clarify, the private bedroom has a queen size bed. The private living room (which is attached to the bedroom) includes a twin size rollaway bed (not a permanent bed in case it's not needed). As far as rollaways go, it is a high quality unit. It is very sturdy and has a 4" memory foam mattress.
As mentioned, there is a dog wash and grooming salon downstairs, so if you bring your pup you can pamper them too!

The Castro is jam-packed with things to do, and is also in the the center of the city, so you're within walking distance to several other main areas such as The Mission, Duboce Triangle and Noe Valley.
There are gay bars for pretty much any scene you are looking for, all within one block from the flat. You'll also find several gyms and many coffee houses, drug stores, grocery stores, barbers, nail salons, restaurants, even a nursery!
SF is very much a walking city, but right outside your door is a muni bus stop and a cab stand. Muni Metro (the subway) is right up the street. And of course Lyft and Uber cars are everywhere in SF, typically arriving in one to two minutes after ordering.
