Private room in spacious contemporary loft apartment in a former industrial building.
The flat is stylishly furnished with a mixture of modern and vintage furniture, with wooden floors throughout. It has a big open plan living, dining and kitchen area.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need. Guests are allocated a cupboard to store food and also space in the fridge.
The bathroom has a bath and a shower, with constant hot water.
Clean towels and bed linen are provided.
The bedroom is very cosy and comfy with a queen size double bed and plenty of storage, including a chest of drawers and a wardrobe. There is also a desk in the room. The room has no windows to the street, same as my room, but I have found that this has made for the best night's sleep in ages.
Excellent travel links - 1 minute to Bethnal Green tube (central line). Liverpool Street is one stop (handy for Stansted airport) and the journey to Oxford Circus takes only 15 minutes, likewise to Kings Cross St Pancras. There are also numerous bus routes into Central London.
There are supermarkets (Tesco and Sainsbury's) only a few minutes away, and an excellent 24 hour convenience store is right on the corner.
The flat is in a superb location, very close to all the wonderful places that East London has to offer - only 10 minutes walk to Columbia Road flower market, 15 minutes walk to Broadway Market, 20 minutes walk to Redchurch Street, Brick Lane and Spitalfields. Each of these places have an eclectic mix of markets, vintage stores, restaurants, cafes and independent shops run by local artists. London Fields or Victoria Park are also very close by.
During your stay you will be sharing with one other, myself. I am friendly and welcoming and part of an established creative community. As well as English I also speak French.
Please note that this is my home and it is a live/work apartment. This means that I live here and work here. During your stay I will be doing day to day things such as washing laundry, cooking meals and so on. Sometimes I have friends pop by for tea or dinner. I will also be working some days at home during the day.
The apartment is a clean, tidy and lived in space so it will not have the same perfect standards as a hotel.
