This pre-war, “railroad” apartment is on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, a one block walk to/from the subway (Q train) that whisks you to and from Broadway/Times Sq., Hell’s Kitchen, Penn Station, Chinatown, and across the bridge to Brooklyn. Quick walk-up with only 2 flights of stairs. I live alone with my pug, Luca 🐶. Guests should be dog-friendly, but he will NOT be in your room (unless you want him to be). “Railroad” apts. have rooms that open into the next in a single file fashion, like a train car! My room is at the far end. And, yes, those are steps up to my bed for my dog! Your room (aka “the den”) has a Queen-sized futon bed, desk, ceiling and floor fans. The den is in the middle of the apt., so it’s very quiet. The wall monitor can be connected to your laptop/mobile devices to work or watch streaming TV. Bath towels/washcloths included. Shower has great water pressure!
