Spacious, light-filled, home on private ski & swim lakes only minutes from downtown and all major arteries--I 70, I 76, I 25, hwy 36. Peaceful, bucolic location. Yard is a riot of color, fruit trees, perennials. Many varieties of birds & wildlife. Gated community.*** This large well lit bedroom and sitting room feature couch, chair, and lamp table at one end--and new Sealy pillow top mattress, new comforter, new pillows, chest and vanity at the other end, with walk-in closet and hangers. I can also set up a queen sized air bed for extra guests. This room is the coziest of all, warmest in the winter and coolest in the summer; also the quietest. Your own private bathroom is just next door.
These rooms are in my walkout basement with high ceilings and many windows. Full size windows on the east and north. Directly behind on the north is the back patio and small private lake (not a ski lake). From the front door of the home you can see the biggest the ski lake across the street on the south and the mountains on the west. Balcony upstairs in back, high speed internet & cable, large closet, WiFi, great views, spacious yard, A/C and evaporative cooler, humidifier. Washer/dryer available in home, microwave, stove, refrigerator, convection oven, coffee/espresso maker, crock pot, plenty of pots and pans, gas grill, and fire pit (which you're welcome to use when we're not in a red day).
You're free to access entire house as long as you're respectful of others living here. Because of our friendly dog/s and cat/s (see below) and our love of gardening, the home will clean but rarely as neat as a pin. There's parking in front of the house on a quiet gated street. This home is GLBTQ friendly, not totally GLBTQ. I expect everyone to respect others, regardless of ********, gender, orientation, race, class, religion, creed, etc.

You're free to walk the beaches throughout this gated community, to stroll over to the peninsula on the main lake on the south, visiting the four miniature donkeys and five friendly llamas and use the community tennis, badminton, and basketball courts. Clear Creek walkway is only minutes away. Baker State Park with its walk/running trail around the reservoir is just across the street.
Near parks/recreation, shopping, museums, zoo, art galleries, concert venues, gay clubs, and suburbs. With bus lines and Westminster Light Rail Station within easy walking distance, and easy UBER & Lyft access. Boulder and mountains close by.
There's parking on the quiet street in front for those with cars.
Shopping centers are located on 64th and Sheridan (about 6 blocks west) and on 72nd and Federal (about 13 blocks to the northeast). Regis Univ. is about 10 blocks south between Lowell Blvd. and Federal Blvd., with shops, convenience store, restaurants nearby and in the Regis Student Center.
Must Sees:
Red Rocks Amphitheater is 25 minutes from here. Then travel down to Colorado Springs and visit Glen Eyrie, an English Tudor-style castle built in 1903 by General William Jackson Palmer, the founder of Colorado Springs. Nearby is the world famous Garden of the Gods and Manitou Springs with its famous Upside Down House where things roll upwards instead of downwards. Here in Denver visit the gold domed State Capitol Bldg., the Denver Art Museum, The Western History Museum, The Denver Aquarium, The Children's Museum, and The Denver Museum of Nature & Science City Park. If you like Zoos, ours is quite nice, as is our Botanic Gardens. Sports stadiums, Pepsi Center, music venues, gay bars, and pubs are all within a 15-20 minute drive.

We have one friendly dog and one friendly cat upstairs. My dog is a six year old male Afghan hound named Melchior or Melkie (the third incarnation of my dog Balthazar, or Baltho, and our companion cat is a male mahogany Angora (the second incarnation of Figaro, or Figgy) written about in my popular memoir, Baltho, The Dog Who Owned a Man (Thomas Ramey Watson). Both love attention. A third generation Coloradan, of pioneer/homesteader stock, I'm very interested in the soul realm, having written a great deal about my experiences. I have just published my new novel, Reading the Signs: A Paranormal Love Story (with interwoven straight and gay plot lines) and have two books of poetry in print, Love Threads and The Necessity of Symbols.
