'The Cubby' is a newly built guest studio set in the garden of the main residence. It is well appointed with a comfortable bed, two easy chairs and a seperate bathroom. There is a firebox with wood provided for cooler nights as well as tea and coffee making facilities and a fridge. Soft towels and crisp sheets.

It has several cafes, pubs, an excellent information centre, a museum and a newly opened Art Gallery, a vintage railway (running steam trains) and some great shops for a wander. You can walk (or drive) to the top of Mount Tarrengower or ANZAC Hill. Castlemaine is 10 minutes away as is Newstead where The Dig Cafe serves the best scones with cream and jam.
