The space is open and clean, with some modern accents. The backyard is quiet and a perfect place to relax and watch the chickens. I recently rescued a cat too so she’s become a great roommate. The neighborhood is simple and quiet with mostly working class neighbors that commute to the city during the day. There are a few fast food options and grocery stores within a mile of the home, and the amazing downtown Avondale and Decatur are short drives, Cheap Uber, or quick train ride away.

The house rules are outlined in detail in the listing description. I expect all guests to abide by these and respect my space while I will respect theirs to the highest degree. If there are issues with this during a booking, I will first confront the guest and then layout steps on how we can best move forward. Whether that is through fiscal compensation, further agreement to adhere to outlined rules with no other option but eviction after a second instance, or immediate cancellation of the stay, a resolution will be met and communicated properly.
In addition, if a guest exceeds the guest limit that is outlined on the reservation at any point during the reservation, there will be a minimum up-charge of $50 for each guest over the limit. A maximum of 2 overnight guests is allowed (as described in the reservation) and maximum of 5 daytime guests (but are to be out of the home during the outlined quiet hours 11pm-6am). Other cleaning fees will also be added based on the cleaning circumstances (to be quoted and outlined in any resolution payment request through ********). Broken or damaged items will be charged at the booking account holder's expense.
