The building is centrally located, a 5 minutes walk downhill to the train station, everything else is also within walking distance.

Train station and Bus terminal are 5 minutes away.
You'll find all the mayor bus lines from either the train station or piazza Oberdan - both are about 5 minutes away, the bus up to Opicina stops around the corner.
From the apartment it is rather easy reaching places of interest outside of the center like Barcola, Miramare, Prosecco, Grotta Gigante, Duino, Sistiana, as well as University, SISSA, ICTP, Basovizza/Synchrotron by bus, as all these lines stop nearby.
The gay beach can be reached by regional bus lines (about 20 minutes), leaving from the bus terminal.
The upscale neighbourhood Scorcola is within walking distance of bus&train station as well as the city center. There are lots of beautiful art nouveau buildings in this area, like the Casa del Fauno just around the corner. Walking uphill, you will discover a great view over the city and you will see some beautiful villas.
The best ice cream in town, Zampolli, is also just a few minutes away... open until 1 am, just enjoy some ice cream on the way home, without regrets - you’ll burn the sugar going up the 4 floors, anyway ;-)
There are a few restaurants nearby, from the fancy PepeNeroPepeBianco to the neighbourhood restaurant Città di Londra (great seafood) as well as a high quality take away pizzeria.
Further, you will find a bakery, pharmacy and even 3 supermarkets just a few minutes away.
