You will pass through the Square Castan (set of archaeological remains of the ancient Gallo-Roman city of Vesontio), the Porte Noire (16.56 m Gallo-Roman triumphal arch built under the Roman Emperor Marc Aurèle in the 2nd century after AD), Saint-Jean cathedral in Besançon.
You will find, 2 minutes away, the Place de la Révolution which hosts the Museum of Fine Arts and Archeology of Besançon. Admission is free on the first Sunday of the month!
Right next to it you will find the covered market (open Sunday morning). In the same street you will find a cinema, bars and several restaurants!
Opposite the apartment you will find a "Monoprix Besançon Pasteur" store (food, clothing, decoration, beauty, etc.), it is open 7 days a week from 8:00 am to 8:30 pm.
You will also find the shopping center "Les Passages Pasteur".

You are in the heart of the city, you can do everything on foot.
However, you have access to a bicycle station (Vélocité, rue Luc Breton), two tram stations are within walking distance in 2 minutes.
The apartment is located two minutes from the Pasteur underground car park, you can park your vehicle easily!
There are two free parking lots located 8 minutes walk from the apartment:
- Battant car park (115 rue battant)
- Richeboug car park (8 rue Richeboug)
The Grande Rue de Besançon is one of the oldest streets in the city.
The street crosses entirely the district of La Boucle from north to south connecting Battant to Saint Jean. From the Battant Bridge to the Place du ********embre, traffic is almost prohibited, after this place, traffic is very limited.
About a hundred shops exist in this street. The Les passages Pasteur shopping center is located a stone's throw from the apartment. There is also a gym.
