My partner and I live on the entire third floor. The second floor is the parlor floor. The first floor is where the kitchen, garden, and another guest room are.
The location is excellent: 145th St station is only two and a half blocks away. The express train stops only at 125th and then the next stop is already Columbus Circle.
The Brownstone is nestled in an area that only has other brownstones and is therefore very quiet.
Please note that I use the music room during the day since most tourists are gone during the day anyway. In the early evening and at night I would respect your need for rest.
Please note: if you are renting this fourth floor suite, then the fourth floor and the third floors are ALWAYS clothing optional. I myself enjoy walking around the house naked. However, since there may be other people coming in and out for music lessons during business hours, the main/parlor floor and the kitchen floor are NOT clothing optional.
