The villa is 12 minutes from the iconic gay beach, Los Muertos. You will find varius beach clubs that cater to LGBTQ+ clientele. You can rent a palapa, order drinks and food, meet people, swim in the Pacific Ocean and take in the warm sun. The gay clubs are also 12 minutes away (short Uber ride or Taxi) from the villa. There are many, many clubs with drag shows, dance floors, gorgeous people. Near these clubs is also a bathhouse (Spartacus). There are many restaurants that serve amazing cuisine or if you want street food, the taco stands by Farmacia Guadalajara are always reliable.
La Isla Shopping Center has great shops and a very nice movie theater with reclining seats and table service.
I highly recommend hiring a small private boat (just you and your party) and cruising along the coast. These local captains know the pristine spots to go snorkeling and where to stop for lunch. They can take you to prisitine beaches like Colomitos or other attractrions that the larger tour companies take you to but charge more and rush you along the way. Hiring a private "lancha" or small boat is one of my favorite things to do when I'm there.
