The area itself is very busy, multicultural and amazingly well connected with the rest of the city: U8 metro line that takes you directly to Mitte, Kreuzberg and Neukölln is 5min walking distance; Gesundbrunnen - one of the main stations in Berlin from where you reach any area in the city with the famous Ringbahn and where the express train from the airport (FEX) and many regional trains make their stop is less than 10min away by foot. There are also buses and tram lines available 2min away from the apartment.
The room doesn't have its own key and there are doors between your room and my living room that I also use as a home office. So even though you will hear me sometimes while working during the day you will still have full privacy. On some days I am working from the office so you won't be hearing me at all.

I've been living in Berlin for more than 6 years and would say I know almost every corner of the city pretty well so I'll be happy to suggest you places to visit after you share your preferences with me. I also know quite a lot hidden gems usually overlooked by the tourists.
The food in the area is mostly Turkish and Levantine. Still there is enough diversity in offer and if you are looking for some more, Mitte and Prenzelberg are just a stone throw away. In those areas you will also find the closest highly frequented gay bars. Feel free to ask me for gastronomic recommendations, as I love eating out and know good food.
