We are in Denver County, so we are close to everything. We are in a safe housing area that doesn't have much homelessness, crime or city problems, so not in the walking district. The LGBTQ+ scene in Denver is spread out and the whole city is LGBTQ+ friendly. We are close to all of it, connected to much of it, and willing to answer your questions. Much of the Denver gay scene is fluid and event dependent, so ask us, or your local dating app connections, for the most recent access to parties and activities.
That said, we recommend Charlie's for dancing, drag and eye candy; Tracks for large holiday events and the young R&B scene; Sweet for Bears and those who like them (more eye candy); Trade for the guy next door vibe; XBar for cocktail hour patio chats; The Eagle for red light activities - and there are lots of other gay bars that host special events.
Near the house:
- Ace is an Asian ping pong bar with an incredibly upscale menu.
- Syrup, The Denver Biscuit and Olive and Finch are our favorite breakfast joints.
- Mazula has the most on point modern Latin menu and a great atmosphere.
- We are in love with Chubby Cattle, which is not a steakhouse, but rather an AYCE sushi and hot pot.
- The Clocktower Cabaret is worth it!
- Dae Gee is a local Korean BBQ chain where you grill your own dinner; amazing!
- The16th Street Mall is so fun, and a great place to visit with no plans and an adventurous spirit.
- Meow Wolf defies description, other than 'interactive impressionistic art'. We highly recommend it, but get tickets before you arrive or it will be sold out.
- There are so many more attractions near the house. This is just a list of our most favorite.

This was my second stay with Teddy and Justin at their lovely house. Teddy was very responsive with questions I had and proactive in communication. Justin asked if I needed anything and was helpful in assisting me as well as taking the time to chat a bit.
