You're in a very quiet subdivision but very close to just about anything you'd like to experience and just minutes from Lackland AFB where new Airmen graduate weekly from Basic Military Training (BMT). The house will easily accommodate you, your family, and more. People have told us, and we're sure you'll agree, it's clean and perfect for the whole family to stay together.

The entire house is a single level, three of the four bedrooms are easily accessible with no steps (there's only one step down into the 'Recruit' room) and all are comfortably furnished with queen-sized beds (the 'Recruit' room has 2) featuring pillow top mattresses for a cozy night's sleep. The sofa is an easy to set up queen-sized bed in the living room.

When you'd like to freshen up, the bathroom has a newly tiled shower and thick, fluffy, super soft, oversized towels and soaps, shampoo/conditioner.

Feel free to relax and lounge in your home away from home, but we understand you want to spend most of your time out on the town. We have tons of recommendations of things to do while you’re here.

Your family area has a couch, love seat and oversized ottoman to gather around a 32" flat panel TV with free streaming Cable TV and Netflix. Travel with your own entertainment? It fully supports a Firestick or other devices via HDMI and USB. We've also provided a DVD player.

Your kitchen has granite counter tops, refrigerator, gas range/oven, microwave... and all the necessary cooking and dining utensils, coffee maker, plates, glasses, etc. We've even have a Keurig for those that want the immediacy of coffee over the full pot for more people in the morning.

You’ll also have access to the laundry room off the back patio in case you need to take care of a quick load of laundry.

For those that enjoy the fresh air, the back yard is large and shaded with a pergola covered patio. Parking is safe and free. Your home has a driveway that can accommodate two cars and street side parking is allowed in the neighborhood.

SeaWorld and Six Flags Fiesta Texas are close by. You’re located just off the interchange between Loop 410, the inner ring road, and Highway 90 that will take you to Lackland and beyond to the downtown area where the Riverwalk, the Alamo, and other 'touristy' attractions are. I challenge you to name a city where you aren't actually staying downtown but can get there in 20 minutes or less regardless of traffic. The San Antonio International Airport is an easy drive straight down Loop 410 heading north/east.

If Gateway Casita is available on dates you're looking at, grab that booking fast! Open dates do not last long. We're one of the closest vacation rentals to Lackland and with graduations every week we stay full.

Unfortunately, and possibly because you have made us so popular with guests arriving to San Antonio, we have noticed a dramatic increase in fraudulent bookings. While we do not like doing anything that might be an extra burden on you when you are coming to visit us and relax, we put some additional safety procedures in place to ensure your safety, the safety of our home, and the safety of everyone during your stay. When you book, you understand that you will be required to provide your identifying documents through a secure 3rd party platform before we provide access to your space. These documents include (and may not be limited to) a government issued photo ID in your name (or the booking party) and an valid credit card issued in your name. This is the same process hotels use to provide for your safety. We pay for the same secure system used by hotels to validate guest age and ID on check in. You will pay no additional costs for this check, and your credit card *will not* be charged outside of the Terms and Conditions specified by the booking channel, we have made sure of this. A small authorization to 'Alamo City Stays' will be attempted by the 3rd party service -only- to determine the validity of the credit card information provided. Please note: An authorization is not a charge, no funds are transferred in an authorization. If you do not pass the initial ID verification, additional checks may be required. In the extremely rare circumstance that you are notified that you did not pass, -or- if you opt out of completing this check for the safety of all concerned. By reserving, and taking control of our space, you agree to cancel your active reservation within 24 hours of notification -and- release control of our space. Those releasing control of our space within 24 hours of such notification -WILL- be provided a full refund with our regrets. Those not releasing control of our space within 24 hours of such notification will be charged in accordance with the booking channel cancellation policy in effect at the time of the cancellation. If you reserve this listing, you will have the entire home to yourself and full use of it 24 hours a day. You can come and go as you like. There's an electronic lock, so there are no keys for you to keep up with or worry about losing!

Even though there's only bed space for 1 to 12 guests, there is plenty of room for additional floor or blow up mattresses.... and you can always have someone bring a sleeping bag to hit the floor if you have more guests than we have beds!

Free WiFi, Netflix. This is a quiet subdivision; however, it's still very close to the very best San Antonio has to offer. Less than a mile away you'll arrive at the start of a shopping center that includes many fast food restaurants, a grocery store, and other conveniences. Welcome to your home away from home. Taxis are available anytime and cost about $35 to get anywhere else in town. I prefer Uber, which is a private driver service. You'll find information when you arrive for a free $20 first ride! Also, the public bus stops just around the corner on Horal Street - every 30 minutes during peak hours. Enjoy your stay! Locals are encouraged to stay but we require you communicate with us before booking the property.

One-night stays are only valid for Sunday through Thursday nights, weekends are a minimum of two nights.

This is a self-check in property. Check in is via keyless electronic lock, so it can be as late as you need.... but, you certify that you are willing and able to follow instructions you will be provided by message, email, and/or in your travel app before arrival. You also agree not to contact your host regarding check in until you have thoroughly read all materials provided to you.

There will not be more than 16 persons in or on the property at any one point in time, a violation of this will lead to the immediate removal of all guests without refund.

You agree to respect and follow all community guidelines provided and/or posted anywhere on the property.

Additional Fees that may be incurred: $200/day smoking fee for each day where a guest is found to have been smoking in the property $50 late check out (for any late departure not previously agreed to) $50 lost key/parking credentials/etc. (for each occurrence) $25 handling fee, plus associated shipping costs, for any items lost and requested returned during your stay

If subsequent guests are unable to use the property, or access their reserved spaces, due to any action by you including but not limited to lost keys, locked doors, accessibility issues, damaged furniture, smoking, lead times for replacement items, damage to the property or violation of house rules, you are financially responsible for the lost revenue, discounts, or compensation afforded to them by us for the inconvenience.

You agree that you are booking the property in good faith and will not attempt to damage your hosts’ business in retribution for unfavorable rulings in the event of resolution claims.

We operate in compliance with all local ordinances and state laws. City, county, and state occupancy taxes are collected as a part of your reservation (reflected as the 'Resort Fee'). STR-********.
