Casa Mística

I can highly recommend the place and the owner Marco. The place can be highly recommended to anybody who is looking for a quiet place in the middle of nature. The Chalet is tiny, but very cozy. It is only a taxi drive away from the Airport. Some bars and Restaurants are close by. It is wonderfully situated between some of the most beautiful beaches of Santa Catarina, namely between Praia Joaquina and Praia Mole. Both beaches can be rather busy. I liked most Playa Galheta, which is one of the very few closing optional beaches. Have of the People there are gay. It is only reachable through a path across the rocks from Praia Mole. It takes a bit Long, but I still made it by walkign (about one hour) practically every day. It helps that you can walk arlong the beach. The place is not a place who look for other men, but an ideal place especially for a couple. Marco, the owner, is a wonderful, very warm-hearted guy. From the very beginning we were like friends. Brazilians are known for their friendliness, but Marco was definitely the nicest person I met during my three-months stay in Brazil. Although he was very busy running his surfing school and altough he does not live in the premises, he was very available, always offered to help and often dropped by to see whether anything would be missing. Marco can also give you many recommendations on what you can do on the island. I have made several bookings over MisterBandB, which was not always easy. But also in this regard, Marco was best. He always answered very quickly and was helpful and comforting when it was not so clear whether the reservation has actually worked.
