Mereside is a spacious three-bedroom first floor apartment on the shores of Lake Windermere, sleeping up to five guests. Mereside is a welcoming first floor apartment set within a traditional Lakeland stone house on the shores of Lake Windermere.

Accessed via a private internal staircase, the apartment opens into a bright open plan kitchen, dining and living area designed to make the most of the stunning lake and hillside views. Large windows and patio doors flood the space with natural light, while comfortable seating, a Smart TV and Bose soundbar create a relaxed setting for evenings in after a day exploring the Lakes.

The fully equipped kitchen includes Neff appliances, a breakfast bar, solid oak dining table and all essential cookware, crockery and utensils for self catering stays.

The apartment sleeps up to five guests across three bedrooms. The principal bedroom features a king bed and en suite shower room, alongside a comfortable double bedroom and a single room. A separate family bathroom with shower over bath provides additional convenience during your stay.

Outside, the oversized private terrace offers panoramic views across Lake Windermere and the marina, with outdoor seating ideal for morning coffee or relaxed alfresco dining. Guests can enjoy nearby cafés, restaurants, shops, lake cruises and scenic walks, all within walking distance of the apartment. Windermere, Ambleside and many of the Lake District’s most popular attractions are also easily accessible.

Whether exploring the fells, enjoying time on the lake or simply relaxing beside the water, Mereside offers a superb base for experiencing the South Lakes. The apartment is easily accessible by car, with private parking available on site.

The nearest train station is Windermere, with connections to Oxenholme on the West Coast Main Line. From there, taxis and local bus services provide onward travel.

Regular bus routes operate between Windermere, Bowness and Ambleside Please take care when using the terrace and surrounding marina areas, particularly with children.
