Designed with couples in mind, this charming one-bedroom cottage provides a peaceful setting for a relaxing Lake District escape.

Inside, guests will find a comfortable lounge area centred around a log burning stove, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere throughout the year. The separate double bedroom offers a cosy place to unwind, while the modern shower room features a walk-in shower.

The cottage includes facilities for preparing breakfasts, snacks and light meals, together with a Nespresso Vertuo coffee machine. The owners recommend bringing your favourite pods to enjoy a morning coffee before setting out to explore the Lakes.

Outside, the private garden area has been designed to make the most of the tranquil setting. Guests can enjoy outdoor seating, a fire pit and barbecue area, whilst the private hot tub provides the perfect place to relax after a day spent walking, sightseeing or enjoying the lake.

The vibrant village of Bowness-on-Windermere is approximately two miles away and offers a wide range of restaurants, cafés, independent shops, boat cruises and visitor attractions.

Nearby attractions include Windermere Lake Cruises, The World of Beatrix Potter, Blackwell Arts & Crafts House, Windermere Jetty Museum and the many walking routes surrounding Lake Windermere. Guests are also well positioned for exploring Ambleside, Hawkshead, Grizedale Forest and the wider Lake District National Park! The property is easily reached from the A592, which follows the eastern shore of Lake Windermere. Private parking is available on site for one vehicle. Windermere railway station is approximately 10 minutes away by car and provides connections to Oxenholme Lake District and the West Coast Main Line. Local taxis are readily available, and many attractions can be reached by car, boat or public transport. The cottage is designed exclusively for two guests. The hot tub is available throughout your stay and should be used responsibly. A Nespresso Vertuo coffee machine is provided. Guests are asked to bring their own compatible pods.
