Natural tones, quality furnishings and carefully chosen finishes create a calm atmosphere, making it just as enjoyable to spend an evening indoors as it is exploring the surrounding National Park.

The open-plan living area is designed for relaxing, with a comfortable designer sofa positioned around a striking double-sided media wall featuring a Samsung Smart TV and Sonos soundbar. Whether you're settling in with a film, reading a book or planning the next day's adventures, it's a space that invites you to slow the pace.

At the heart of the suite is a beautifully appointed kitchen equipped with premium Siemens appliances, including an oven, microwave, warming drawer, slimline dishwasher and full-height fridge freezer. The central island incorporates a Teppanyaki style grill, giving you everything you need to prepare anything from a leisurely breakfast to a memorable evening meal together.

Large patio doors flood the accommodation with natural light and open onto your own private outdoor seating area. It's the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee or unwind with a drink in the evening while watching the resident ducks, rabbits and squirrels that regularly wander through the landscaped grounds.

When it's time to rest, the spacious bedroom offers a luxurious super king-size bed with a pocket-sprung mattress, premium bedding and a Samsung Smart TV. Plantation shutters provide privacy while maintaining the bright and airy feel, and direct access to the patio allows you to wake up to the fresh Cumbrian air each morning.

The contemporary bathroom has been designed with a boutique feel, featuring elegant Porcelanosa tiling, a distinctive round stone bath with a rainfall shower above, a stone pedestal basin, luxury toiletries, fluffy towels and soft robes to help make your stay even more comfortable. Guests have exclusive use of the entire adults-only ground floor suite throughout their stay, including the private patio with outdoor seating accessed directly from the bedroom.

Parking is available within the on-site car park, just a short walk from the suite, with electric vehicle charging points also available for guests who require them.

Complimentary high-speed Starlink Wi-Fi is provided throughout the property, making it easy to stay connected whether you're working remotely or simply streaming your favourite films after a day exploring.

As part of your stay, you'll also have full access to Whitbarrow Holiday Village's excellent leisure facilities. Enjoy a swim in the indoor pool, relax in the jacuzzi, sauna or steam room, work out in the gym, or spend an evening at the Eden Restaurant & Bar. The village also offers a selection of outdoor activities including crazy golf, giant chess and frisbee football.

Check-in is available from 4:00pm, with reception open until 8:00pm should you require any assistance on arrival. Check-out is by 10:00am on your departure day.

Perfectly positioned on the edge of the Lake District National Park, Whitbarrow Holiday Village offers easy access to some of Cumbria's most beautiful landscapes. Spend your days exploring scenic walking routes, discovering picturesque villages, cruising across Ullswater or visiting historic attractions such as Penrith Castle and Castlerigg Stone Circle.

For those looking for something more adventurous, the surrounding area offers everything from kayaking and paddleboarding to gorge walking, climbing and archery. If relaxation is more your style, return to the village to enjoy the leisure facilities or settle in for a meal at the Eden Restaurant & Bar before heading back to your accommodation for a peaceful evening. The nearest railway station is Penrith North Lakes, approximately 10 miles away, providing direct connections to London, Manchester, Glasgow and Edinburgh via the West Coast Main Line.

Oxenholme Lake District and Windermere railway stations also provide convenient access to the wider Lake District. From Penrith, local bus services operate through the surrounding villages, while taxis are readily available from all nearby stations.

For the greatest flexibility when exploring the National Park, travelling by car is recommended. Bookings can only be accepted from lead guests aged 18 years or over. The Cozy Nook is exclusively for adults and is not suitable for children.

Guests have private use of the suite throughout their stay, together with access to the shared leisure facilities within Whitbarrow Holiday Village.
