El Pontifical is a 17th-century historic hotel where time slows down. Set within a building rich in character and history, it offers a calm and authentic experience for guests who value tranquillity, heritage, and thoughtful details.

Our restaurant embraces honest, carefully crafted cuisine, inspired by quality ingredients and the pleasure of sharing a table without hurry. Every stay and every meal at El Pontifical is an invitation to enjoy the present moment, surrounded by warmth, serenity, and a true sense of place.

Our location is only 40 minutes from Madrid and 30 minutes from Barajas Airport, while Alcalá de Henares is just 20 minutes away.

The rooms in El Pontifical have wooden floors, beamed ceilings and brick walls. All have air conditioning, TV and modern, private bathrooms. Children under 10 stay for free when using existing bedding.

El Pontifical has a restaurant offering traditional dishes from the area. Guests can also dine outside on the terrace. There is also a bar.
