Smart, Eclectic ART HOUSE near UC Davis Med Center

Only minutes away from shops, local breweries, the Golden 1 Center, Sac State University, major highways and bustling midtown; the UC Davis Med Center is less than a mile away, too. This is a 1930's double unit property with a colorful and artsy vibe.

Note: The Art House is the front unit. Theres a second unit in the rear of the property. My goal is that each guest has a great lodging experience. I can only hope that part of this is achieved through the many works of local artists and the unique, homey space I've worked hard to create.

****Important Note About HVAC Noise***** Please note that the home’s HVAC system is fully functional and works well to keep the space comfortable; however, it does produce noticeable operational noise when running. This is typical for the system and should be expected during your stay. If you are highly sensitive to background or mechanical noise—especially while sleeping or resting—this home may not be the best fit for you. We want all guests to feel comfortable, so we encourage you to consider this carefully before booking.

The entire 2 bedroom unit is available for access. There’s a small front porch area that You're welcome to use as well.

The attached garage is a closed space and is kept locked. There is no hanging out or gathering of any kind allowed in the garage area.

PARKING: If you have a car, please park on the street in front of the house :)

**Please do not park in the driveway** Tahoe Park is an established, safe and quiet neighborhood. The residents are easy going. The house itself is about a 5 minute drive from the always fun broadway triangle (in Oak Park); an area with great shops, breweries, and a kick ass bookstore. I love the Plant Foundry (nursery and garden) and i think you might, too.

Also close by is one of the city’s famed brunch spots- Bacon and Butter. It’s got tons of delicious options - get there early to beat the line. Just across the street is Tahoe park. It’s full of trees, green grass and perfect for a walk. If you get the chance, try the city's newest form of transit - electric bike sharing! JUMP Bikes are becoming more and more popular in the area and are a really fun way to get around. Of course Uber and Lyft are everywhere too!

Public transportation runs up and down the main cross street (Broadway); although I'm not the best with navigating the routes. Midtown is a 8 minute car ride away. Please do not park in the driveway. Please keep noise levels down after 9pm.
