The iconic LGBTQ-friendly hotel on Carrer d’Aribau 33, with Groundbar and the SkyBar/rooftop, making it one of the most recognizable social spots in the Gaixample. Imperial Meeting Point — about 420 m / 5–6 min walk, at Carrer d’Aribau 46, directly opposite the Axel. It is a private LGBTQ+ social club with a bar and events, plus a downstairs cruising area. Registration/membership is required before entering. Current information says the club generally operates from Wednesday to Sunday, with schedules varying according to the event. Sauna Gay Thermas — about 1.4 km / 17–18 min walk, at Carrer de la Diputació 46. A large gay sauna occupying three floors, with indoor pools, jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, relaxation areas and cabins. It is currently listed as open 24 hours, 7 days a week. Sauna Gay Casanova — about 580 m / 7–8 min walk, at Carrer de Casanova 57. Another established 24-hour gay sauna in the Eixample. BOYS BAR BCN — about 600 m / 7–8 min walk, at Diputació 174; a gay bar very close to your apartment. For the metro, Urgell and Universitat are your most useful stations for the Gaixample, both roughly 7–10 minutes on foot from your address. Rocafort is particularly convenient for reaching Thermas.
