Please note on arrival all guests will be asked to present a credit or debit card for payment. Upon check-in at the County Hotel a pre-authorisation of GBP 50.00 per night will be taken on your credit card to cover any extras or damages incurred during your stay for your room. Should your room have been prepaid you will still be asked for a chip-pin card preauthorisation. Contactless, Apple pay, or any form of virtual card will not be accepted for this. Please note for guests staying at the County Aparthotel located 83 Westgate Rd, Newcastle upon Tyne NE1 1SQ, the pre-authorisation is £100.00 for a 1-bedroom apartment and £200.00 for a 2-bedroom apartment. The release of this authorisation on either credit or debit card may take up to 14 working days to be released back onto your pending balance providing none of our other services within the hotel have been utilised and will appear back in your available balance within 14 days. This will open a line of credit for bar, restaurant, room service or mini bar facilities. Please note that the breakfast price is only valid if you purchase it when booking. It will cost GBP 14.95 if bought at the hotel. When booking 6 rooms or more, different policies and additional supplements will apply. We do not accept same sex leisure parties of more than 6 people. Hotel does not accept hen or stag groups. Group bookings of 10 or more rooms are not accepted. Please note that this property can accommodate late check-out for an additional cost of GBP 10 per hour after 11:00, subject to availability. Onsite car parking is limited and operated on a first come-first served basis, parking is charged at £10.00 per car per day.
