Mad Monkey Potts Point is a social backpacker hostel in Potts Point, Sydney - the social epicentre of the Mad Monkey family, and the only hostel in the group offering free family dinners every single night. The building is fully air-conditioned throughout. The nightly dinner is the heart of the experience: the whole hostel sits down together, making it the easiest way in Sydney to meet fellow travellers. Combined with interconnected common spaces, nightly organised events, and a young, energetic crowd, Potts Point is where solo travellers find the people they’ll travel the East Coast with. Dorms come in 4, 6, or 8-bed configurations, in mixed and female-only options, each bunk fitted with a privacy divider, power point, and light, and the building is fully air-conditioned. Fresh linen is always included, bathrooms are shared and cleaned daily, and every guest gets a free barista coffee each morning at Happy Travels. The hostel is a 5-minute walk from Kings Cross train station, with easy access to the CBD, Opera House, Harbour Bridge, and Bondi Beach.
