L'appartamento era accogliente, impeccabile e molto confortevole, con snack, caffè e tè sempre disponibili. Tolga ha persino preparato la colazione al mattino, che era semplicemente fantastico! Trascorrere del tempo con lui sembrava più come visitare un amico molto caro piuttosto che stare in un affitto.
Mi sono sentito completamente a casa e posso consigliare vivamente di stare da Tolga!"

Jai·5·giugno. 2026· "Ben was unfortunately unwell during my stay, so I did not have the opportunity to meet him in person. However, Will looked after me exceptionally well throughout. He was very welcoming, friendly, and made me feel completely at ease from the moment I arrived. We had a lovely conversation and even spent some time relaxing and watching television together, which added a very personal and comfortable touch to the stay.
The property itself is immaculate and maintained to an exceptionally high standard. Every detail has clearly been thoughtfully considered, and it shows in the cleanliness and overall presentation. The room was exactly as described—very comfortable, well-equipped, and perfect for a relaxing stay. The views from the balcony are absolutely stunning and genuinely something to be envious of. The area is also very quiet, making it ideal for rest and unwinding.
Although I did not meet Ben, his communication was excellent from start to finish. He made every effort to ensure my journey and stay were as smooth and comfortable as possible, which I greatly appreciated. Will also prepared an amazing breakfast, which was a highlight of my stay.
They are a very caring and attentive couple who clearly take pride in hosting. I would highly recommend staying here and would happily return again."

The price was excellent for Buenos Aires, and the building feels modern and secure. The rooftop pool and gym are a big plus, and I liked having a proper kitchen so I could cook when I didn’t feel like going out.
San Telmo is an interesting, historic neighborhood with a lot of character. Plaza Dorrego and Calle Defensa are an easy walk and absolutely worth exploring – antique shops, street art, cafés, markets, and plenty of people-watching. There’s also a hop-on hop-off bus stop nearby in front of the Museo de Arte Moderno, which was useful for sightseeing.
One thing to be aware of: most group tours in Buenos Aires do **not** pick up in San Telmo, so you’ll probably need to use Uber or a taxi to get to the typical meeting points (usually Centro, Recoleta, or Palermo). Not a deal-breaker, but good to know when you’re planning.
The apartment itself was clean and matched the photos. My only real comfort issue was the bed – the mattress was much firmer than I prefer, though some people might like that. The bathroom has only an **overhead (rain-style) shower**, not a handheld one, which I personally don’t love, but the **water pressure was very good** and there was plenty of hot water. Wi-Fi worked well. The TV/Netflix instructions in the PDF guide were slightly out of date, but with a little trial and error I got everything working.
For practical stuff:
* I drank the **tap water** in the apartment the whole time with **no problems**, so in case you’re wondering, it’s safe to drink.
* Make sure you have ************, because Diego (the building super) uses it to coordinate check-in and let you into the apartment.
* Laura, the owner, was kind and helpful, and the PDF guide she sends has a lot of useful information. If you need to reach her quickly, I recommend texting her directly, because she may not always see in-app messages right away.
I also recommend buying a **round-trip ticket from the official taxi stand at Ezeiza Airport**. The price for the round trip to San Telmo was very reasonable for about a 30-minute ride each way and it was completely hassle-free.
One logistic issue that’s worth mentioning: many international flights into Buenos Aires arrive very early in the morning (before check-in) and depart late at night (long after check-out). In my case I had to be out of the apartment at 10 a.m., but my airport taxi wasn’t coming until 5 p.m. I used an app called **Radical Storage** to find a nearby hotel that stored my bags for about six hours, and that worked perfectly. I highly recommend it if you have a similar gap between check-out and your flight.
Buenos Aires itself is a fantastic city and I always felt welcome; people were very friendly. I speak Spanish, but I had to adapt quickly to the local use of *vos* instead of *tú*. Food is obviously a matter of taste, but I personally found a lot of restaurant options fairly expensive and a bit bland, so I ended up cooking quite a lot in the apartment. Definitely try **alfajores** while you’re here, though – those were a highlight.
In summary: a solid, comfortable base in San Telmo at a great price, with helpful hosts and good building amenities. Just be aware of the firm bed, the overhead-only shower, the need to Uber to most tour meeting points, and the early-arrival/late-departure timing issue, and you’ll likely have a very good stay here.

Il suo appartamento si trova a circa 30 minuti di Uber dall'aeroporto.
Vive all'ultimo piano di un edificio con sicurezza 24/7. C'è una palestra dall'altra parte della strada dove ho avuto la possibilità di allenarmi con Carlos insieme.
Carlos è molto onesto e facile da frequentare. Mi ha mostrato alcuni quartieri interessanti, ha cucinato per me e abbiamo condiviso grandi storie insieme.
Sebbene sia un po' lontano dalle principali attrazioni turistiche, ti innamorerai del tuo padrone di casa.
