Hi, my name is James. I am the owner of VIC Rainbow Tours which i operate with my partner Andy.
We emigrated from the uk in 2001. We really enjoy be part of a thriving LGBTQ community in Melbourne. We are members of several LGBTQ sports teams, in particular Melbourne Rovers Football (Soccer) club, which we represent both on the field as well as on the field in a volunteer committee capacity for the past 10+ years. We are also involved with, and members of GALTA Australia's official Gay And Lesbian Tourism Association.
Previously, we ran our own accommodation business in Apollo Bay (on the Great Ocean Road) and in San Remo (Phillip Island) so we decide to make the natural progression to become tour guides for these two areas.
These are areas that we passionately love, and have always enjoyed showing our friends and family from overseas these areas too - so it seemed like the perfect fit to move into the private touring business - and get paid doing something we really love, with like minded people.
We hope you join us on a tour in the very near future.
