Important Parking Information: Parking is extremely limited in this busy urban area, so we highly recommend using a ride share service or carpooling when you can. Free parking is first come first serve at the back of the property and on the side street off Patterson Avenue. Free street parking is also available nearby. We can even arrange a private shuttle pickup from the airport for large groups with advanced notice. Located on Bardstown Road (voted Louisvilles Best Street) in The Highlands Historic District, you will have plenty of iconic spots to explore during your stay with no car needed. The Highlands is very walkable and bike friendly with over two dozen restaurants, coffee shops, bookstores, breweries, and local shops. Nearby Historic Cherokee Park has over 400 acres of walking trails and green spaces to explore.

Bungalou borders downtown Louisville and the popular NuLu area where you can catch shows, sporting events, visit 4th Street Live, and walk across the Ohio River on the bridge to Indiana. Ride share services are highly recommended since parking is extremely limited. The Highlands is very walkable, and there are many electric scooters nearby too.
