James·4·Okt.. 2025· "Honestly, I didn't know what to expect due to never being inside an Indigo Hotel. It was easy to find and the doorman was very welcoming and polite. Checking in was a smooth process, as well. Elevators were close to the lobby, as I navigated up to the 6th. floor then heading down the hall to my room. The room was a bit smaller than I expected but it was perfectly fine. Being dark out with the areas outside lights from street lights to building lights, I wanted to close the window shades, of which there were two sets operated by chains for each shade. As I pulled the shade closest to the window, it wouldn't budge at all, working slowly with the chain, suddenly the whole apparatus fell down onto the window ledge. I called for the maintenance to reinstall the shade. A man arrived quickly but was unable to reconnect each end of the shade, then realized one end needed an anchor. Therefore, he was not able to make the necessary repair and left the shade on the floor. The outer shade that was closest to me, the bed, worked fine. Next morning Mr. sunshine was doing what he does best, shinning right into my face through the crack of the wall and shade. It was a perfect wake up call. LOL The bathroom did not have a mat to stand on after showering. odd, I thought. The toilet handle was flimsily wabbling and cheaply made, but I made it work. Actually, I had to make it work. "
