I am a former professional classical musician and professor of music. I sang with the Grammy award winning men's vocal ensemble for 10 years and served as their music director for 3 years. After leaving the road, I led choirs and taught conducting at Texas State University, the University of Nebraska, and Shenandoah Conservatory. I co-founded a summer masters degree program in choral conducting at Simpson College where I continue to teach. I have been fortunate enough to have visited 49 of the United States (only missing Montana) and 45 countries. I fell in love with Puerto Vallarta during my first visit in 2004 and visited several times a year before finally moving here full time in 2022. I live in the building and am always available to help guests with anything they might need or any questions they might have. My nickname is "La alcandesa de Vallarta " ("The Mayoress of Vallarta"). So, there's that... :)
