The Bermuda Triangle - Gay Frankfurt's Central Hub

The centrepiece of the gay Frankfurt map is the Bermuda Triangle, located in the Innenstadt on and around Alte Gasse and Kalbachstrasse. The nearest public transport landmark is Hauptwache U-Bahn and S-Bahn station (lines U1, U2, U3, U6, U7, S-Bahn all services), approximately 5-10 minutes' walk east. From the Hauptbahnhof, the Bermuda Triangle is accessible on foot (about 15-20 minutes) or by a single U-Bahn stop to Hauptwache. Key addresses in the Triangle: Switchboard AG36 is at Alte Gasse 36, Lucky's Manhattan is on Schafergasse, Central Bar is in Elefantengasse (a small alley off Alte Gasse), and CK Studio is at Alte Gasse 5. La Gata is slightly off the main strip at Seehofstrasse. The cruise bars (Comeback, Grande Opera) are also within the Triangle perimeter. The entire area is walkable - no transport needed once you arrive.

Gay Saunas on the Frankfurt Map - Northern Corridor

The main gay saunas sit north of the Bermuda Triangle, in the Westend and Nordend districts. Saunawerk is on Eschersheimer Landstrasse, accessible from the Innenstadt by U-Bahn (U1/U2/U3 to Gruneburgweg or Holzhausenstrasse stations). Clubsauna Amsterdam is in the same northern corridor. Neither is walkable from the Bermuda Triangle for most people, but the U-Bahn connection makes them a 10-15 minute door-to-door journey. CSD Frankfurt Event Site - Mainufer, South of the Innenstadt

The official Frankfurt CSD event site is on the Mainufer - Frankfurt's celebrated Main River embankment - between Eiserner Steg (Iron Bridge) and Untermainbrucke, in the Altstadt/Sachsenhausen corridor. It sits south of the Bermuda Triangle, connected by a straight 10-15 minute walk south through the Innenstadt and across either of the two footbridges. The Mainufer is one of Frankfurt's most beautiful public spaces: the river view, the museum mile on the opposite (Sachsenhausen) bank, and the temporary stage infrastructure of CSD combine during the July event to make it genuinely spectacular. Best Gay-Friendly Neighborhoods on the Frankfurt Map

Beyond the Bermuda Triangle, the gay Frankfurt map extends into several neighborhoods that I know well and recommend to different kinds of traveler. Bornheim, to the east of the Innenstadt, is the neighborhood I always point solo travelers and longer-stay visitors towards first: it has a gentle, artsy, liberal vibe, excellent independent cafes and restaurants on Berger Strasse, and a tram connection (line 11 or 12) to the Bermuda Triangle in under 10 minutes. Many LGBTQ+ Frankfurters live here. Sachsenhausen, south of the Main River, is the museum quarter and cider tavern district - great for a quieter, more cultural stay with easy access to the CSD event site in summer. The Westend, north-west of the Innenstadt, is upscale and leafy, close to Saunawerk and the Palmengarten - a good option for business travelers who want quieter surroundings. The Bahnhofsviertel (around the Hauptbahnhof) is central and diverse, but not specifically LGBTQ+-in-character. Getting Around Gay Frankfurt - Transport Tips

Frankfurt's public transport (VGF - Verkehrsgesellschaft Frankfurt) is efficient, well-signed in English and runs throughout the night on weekends. The U-Bahn and S-Bahn system covers every area on the gay Frankfurt map: Hauptwache for the Bermuda Triangle, Merianplatz or Bornheim Mitte for Bornheim, various U-Bahn stops for Sachsenhausen and the Westend. A 24-hour travel card covers all zones including the airport. Since Frankfurt's bars have no legal closing time, the city never truly sleeps: taxis and Uber are available throughout the night, and the walk from the Bermuda Triangle to most Innenstadt hotels is very manageable regardless of the hour.
