Dexter’s Cottage is located in the heart of Seminole Heights. Less than a half mile walk or bike to several cafes, bars and restaurants. Seminole Heights is known for being the little trendy, historic foodie capital of Tampa. Less than 10 minutes to Downtown, Amalie Arena, Riverwalk, Tampa General Hospital and Ybor City. 15 min to airport, Hard Rock, Hyde Park and 30-45 min to the beaches. There is a kayak that other guests have left for you to use. 5 minutes walk to the river. Kitchenette offers a full fridge/freezer, sink, mini-convection/toaster oven and a 2 burner countertop burner that can easily be pulled out of the cabinet. The bathroom offers a pedestal sink, and a walk-in shower. The dining room seats 4, the living room has space for an air mattress, the couch is cozy and the Roku tv in the living room has Netflix and local programming, and allows access to any other viewing apps you may need! The bedroom offers a queen sized bed, closet and chest to store your clothes, and a desk. There’s a welcome book on the table with a bunch of local recommendations of places to eat/see while you’re in town, be sure to sign in on a guest page and give other people your recommendations! Guests have access to the entire apartment, parking out front, and a private backyard with outdoor seating. Front Porch Bar and Grill, Trip’s Diner, Jet City coffee, Revolution Ice Cream, Seminole Heights City Wine Bar, Ebisu Sushi, Ella’s, Mortar and Pestle and many local breweries are all located close by in Seminole Heights. 5 minute walk to (riverfront) Epps Park and you can drop a kayak in there. Downtown, Airport, Busch gardens are all within 20 minutes. Walking or biking to the close places is definitely possible, Uber/Lyft can get you to most places around Tampa very affordably, and a rental car would definitely be great if you plan to check out the beaches while you’re in town.e I run a local realty brokerage office, so I’m very familiar with Tampa.
