Located in the charming Summer Haven community just south of Matanzas Inlet, it’s a perfect retreat for nature lovers, boaters, and those looking to experience the beauty of Old Florida. The views from the covered porch are unparalleled. It feels like a dream! If you are lucky, you may see a dolphin swim right by the dock! Enjoy the outdoor furniture, whether to lounge or to entertain - there is something for everyone. The outdoor lower level boasts a propane BBQ and additional lounge seating. With a variety of outdoor activities, including fishing, kayaking, and exploring nearby beaches and parks, this home promises a peaceful, yet adventurous stay. It’s ideal for families or friends looking for a quiet getaway, while still being close to the vibrant history and culture of Historic Downtown St. Augustine.

THE PROXIMITY: The property is located just a couple of minutes from the beach access at Matanzas Inlet. For those with boats, there is a boat ramp located to the north at Devil’s Elbow and to the south at Bing’s Landing. The Summer Haven River is a shallow water environment that rewards local knowledge and careful navigation. Guests bringing boats are encouraged to familiarize themselves with local conditions prior to arrival. The river is ideal for paddle sports, as the current is minimal, and boat traffic is light. This house is a 5-minute drive from Marineland and Washington Oaks State Park, an 8-minute drive to the Hammock for world-class golfing, and Historic Downtown St. Augustine is an easy 25-minute drive for guests wishing to explore the city’s shops, restaurants, and attractions. A Publix is 8 minutes away. Some of our favorite local eateries include Hammock Grill by JT’s, Bartletts and Bronx Pizza.

THE SPACE: This beautifully renovated home provides both comfort and style, with a light-filled interior designed to make you feel at home. The spacious living area includes an oversized sofa and a large smart TV for cozy nights in. The fully loaded kitchen features modern quartz countertops and stainless-steel appliances, perfect for preparing meals. The home also includes spacious bedrooms with luxurious linens, ensuring restful nights after a day of outdoor exploration. Spa inspired bathrooms are well-appointed with walk-in showers and large vanities. Outdoors, enjoy the wraparound deck and the second-floor balcony with spectacular views, or relax on the first-floor seating area.

OPEN LIVING: The main level features an open concept living, kitchen and dining room. The kitchen is adjacent to the living and dining area so everyone can be together whether lounging, dining or cooking! We outfit the kitchen with enough paper products, pods, trash bags and soaps for 2-3 days of your stay. Linens and towels are included.

THE LAYOUT: This home has a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom layout. All bedrooms are on the 2nd floor. Primary Bedroom with Full Bathroom: A King size bed and en suite bathroom with a walk in shower. Guest Bedroom: Has 2 full beds Guest Bathroom: Full guest bath located in the hall outside of the bedrooms with a walk in shower.

LAUNDRY: We offer a washer and dryer. We provide starter laundry pods and dryer sheets, iron and ironing board and some cleaning supplies for your convenience.

PARKING: There’s plenty of parking with 4 covered spots under the house, and additional uncovered space for more cars to park.

BEACHSIDE FUN IN THE SUN: Our beaches are unparalleled! We really know how to enjoy what nature has blessed us with here in our quaint little St. Augustine. This home is situated near non-drivable beaches You can drive to one of the public beach accesses in Crescent, Matanzas, Washington State Park, or St. Augustine Beach to park and walk on.

*********: In lieu of a traditional ******** charge or authorization hold for a large sum, we will instead charge a one-time non-refundable incidentals fee to your stay of $99. This fee acts as insurance for minor damages and covers you up to a max of $1000 of damage. You may elect to increase your incidentals fee for more coverage ($149 for $1500, $199 for $2000 and so on and so forth). *IMPORTANT: Guests must report to us any damage that has taken place during their stay before checkout, otherwise the incidental fee coverage is null and void. In this case, we reserve the right to charge the full amount of repairing or replacing the damaged items to you. Your insurance coverage amount ($1000) is not the max that you are responsible for. If damages exist beyond your coverage amount we will document this with photos and professional estimates of repair, and bill you for the repairs or replacements. Guests will have access to the entire home, including both indoor and outdoor living spaces. This includes the wraparound deck, first-floor seating area, private dock, and two kayaks for exploring the Summer Haven River. A floating dock is also available for boats up to 24 feet in length. Please note that there is a boat ramp to the north at Devil's Elbow or south at Bing’s Landing. For paddle sport enthusiasts, the shallow waters of the Summer Haven River and Matanzas Inlet offer a quiet, serene experience.

The nearby Fort Matanzas National Monument, River to Sea Preserve, Washington Oaks Gardens State Park, and the St. Augustine Lighthouse offer opportunities for outdoor exploration and sightseeing. Historic Downtown St. Augustine is just a short drive away for those looking to dive into the rich history and culture of the area. We recommend renting a car for your stay. WEEKLY SERVICES: There are various service providers that visit and maintain the exterior of the property on a weekly basis and the days they visit vary from week to week. These services include lawn care, exterior pest control, trash handling and where applicable, pool and spa cleaners. Some properties may have other specialty service providers. If you see them outside, they are just on site to do their job and keep the home in its best condition for the enjoyment of our guests.

Please remember that you're staying in a house, not a hotel. Please treat the space and neighbors with respect. If any problems arise, we will do our best to take action ASAP, but there is no one living on site 24/7.

LOST AND FOUND ITEMS: We charge a $50 minimum to ship forgotten items, which must be paid in advance. For heavier items, we ask that you pre-pay the $50 and we will acquire any additional shipping cost and bill this to you accordingly + 25% service fee.
