The house of Carsten is nicely decorated with lots of own art on the wall and my room and in the hallways. It's a pity that I didn't have time to sit in the beautiful and cozy library and get into conversation with the other residents who all seemed very nice to me!"

Antonio·4·Sep. 2026· "Location is really good, pretty centric and you can get easily to the M2 or M3 plus some of the buses. The house is really big and there is a lot of interesting art around.
My room was unfortunately not the one that I've booked and there was smell (smoke) on that room. Nothing serious, but it got me every time I was entering the room."

Kevin·4·May. 2024· "A large hotel-like hostel that has many amenities (most at additional cost). Great, central location. The private double room was tiny but the bed and sheets were very comfortable. Good sized bathroom but the shower drain filter was clogged causing it to drain slowly and eventually flood. This was a common problem in many rooms so the filter must be removed and cleaned regularly! The bathroom light also operates by sensor so it would keep turning off while showering. They offer convenient storage lockers to store your luggage if you arrive early or depart late. Very busy/loud as many like to socialize in common areas at night."

For the first two days we were running out of soap and shampoo; if it wasn't because I went to the reception to ask for those probably we wouldn't have had it at all. The bathroom was the clear evidence of a non-existing thorough and proper cleaning: sink dirty and decorated by the same hair for 3 days in a row, dusty floor and toilet. Friendly staff. Old-fashioned Storage room that works with coins, so be ready to bring some."

The standard room was small, I think if I were traveling with someone I would want a bigger one, especially if we were there more than one or two nights. But for my by myself, no problem. It felt safe and comfortable. Check-in and check-out were super easy. Breakfast was fine too - I wished for some hot food options, but what they had was decent quality, and the view from the restaurant (top floor) made it a nice way to start the day."
