Berlin Gay Pride (CSD) is one of Europe's biggest gay prides, with gay parties and events all over the creative capital. The first Gay Pride Berlin or Christopher Street Day (CSD) Berlin was celebrated back in 1979. Nowadays, up to 500,000 people celebrate the CSD in Berlin, one of Europe’s biggest LGBT and party capitals!
In 2018 the main Berlin Gay Pride (CSD) Parade will take place on 28 July. The demonstration kicks off at 12:00pm at Kurfürstendamm and ends up at 14.00pm at Brandenburger Tor.
There’s also an alternative Berlin CSD in the Kreuzberg neighborhood of the city, if you want something less mainstream. As a warm-up to Berlin CSD, the Berlin LGBT community hold a Lesbian and Gay City Festival in Schöneberg the weekend before.
