The Admiral Duncan is one of Soho's oldest and most storied gay pubs, a small, blue-fronted, one-room bar on Old Compton Street that has been trading since the 1830s and at the heart of the gay village for generations. Traditional and unpretentious, with a tiny dance floor and a jukebox of 80s and 90s hits, it hosts karaoke, cabaret, and drag most nights and draws a friendly, mixed-age, attitude-free crowd that spills onto a cordoned-off area overlooking the street in warm weather.

The Two Brewers is one of London’s most famous LGBTQ+ venues and a true institution of gay nightlife south of the Thames. Located on Clapham High Street, just a short walk from Clapham North and Clapham Common stations, this legendary bar and club has been serving the community since 1981.

Once a Victorian gentleman’s lavatory and one of Theatreland’s most infamous historic meeting spots, this unique venue in Soho, London, has long been associated with legendary figures such as Oscar Wilde, Joe Orton, John Gielgud, and Quentin Crisp. Today, it has been transformed into a vibrant Soho bar and nightlife venue that celebrates London’s rich LGBTQ+ history and cabaret culture.

Welcome to my spacious one-bedroom flat in a very gay-friendly area of London! You'll be sleeping on a comfortable double mattress in the open-plan living room/kitchen - not an airbed, but a proper mattress, so you'll sleep like on a normal bed.

You will have a lovely quiet private room overlooking the garden with a very comfy double sofa bed - which is also my study when there are no guests. The rest of the house is shared and includes a living room, large bathroom with shower and bath and a large kitchen/dining area.

Covent Garden Health Spa is one of the most centrally located gay saunas in London, a men-only spot on Endell Street just two minutes from Covent Garden tube and a short walk from Soho's gay bars. Open since 1985 and spread over several levels, it offers a dry sauna, a high-heat steam room, a spa pool, an open-plan wet room, private cabins, a video lounge and a licensed bar, with professional massage available.

Sailors is East London's biggest gay sauna, a four-floor venue on Commercial Road in Limehouse, a minute from Limehouse DLR and right next to the White Swan pub. Its facilities include a 20-man jacuzzi, a dry sauna, a steam room, open showers, private cabins, darkened cruising areas, a TV lounge, and a snack bar, topped by a roof garden, one of the few outdoor spaces at any London sauna.

Set in Stratford in the East End, E15 Club is a long-running gay sauna that's easy to reach by public transport from across London. The venue covers all the essentials — a large dry sauna, steam room, infrared sauna, cruising and relaxation rooms, video lounge, and a coffee bar — with a loyalty scheme for regulars.

Saunabar Portsea is a small, discreet gay and bisexual men's sauna in central London, tucked just north of Hyde Park, a few minutes' walk from Marble Arch and Edgware Road. Intimate and traditional rather than sprawling, it offers a hot dry sauna, a steam room, a clean shower area, a lounge to catch up on the news, and private cabins, with secure lockers and a bar to cool off.

Prowler Soho is Europe's best-known gay lifestyle store, a Soho institution just moments from Old Compton Street, and a fixture of the LGBTQ+ scene since 1974. Its rainbow-flagged corner store, almost a gateway to the gay village as you arrive from Piccadilly Circus, spreads over two floors packed with clothing, swimwear and underwear from top international brands, alongside books, magazines and queer zines up front, and a second section of fetish gear, harnesses, leather, latex, poppers, lube and toys.

Regulation is London's biggest fetish and sex toys store. Whatever kinky toy or outfit you're after, you'll find it at Regulation!

Formerly "Expectations", GEAR London is "Where all the Good and Bad Boys meet!". It's London’s foremost hotspot for all guys into leather, rubber, sports and urban gear.

Gymbox Elephant & Castle is widely regarded as London's most gay-popular gym, a high-energy, two-floor club known as much for its disco lights, DJs and larger-than-life trainers as for its serious kit. Spanning an Olympic boxing ring, aerial and dance studios, weights and functional zones, saunas, and a recovery area, it offers more than 100 classes a week across everything from boxing and spin to yoga and Hyrox.

TheWeekending is London's LGBTQ+ fitness club, a warm, judgment-free community built around coached group strength and muscle-building workouts for all levels, including beginners. Founded in 2018 by trainer Fabio Pozzetto as a single Saturday session, it has grown into a seven-day-a-week club with two studios, one in Bethnal Green and one in Elephant & Castle, where expert coaches run structured, progressive sessions that mix classic weightlifting with conditioning.

Just one hour by train from London, Brighton, on the south coast, is a major LGBT hub. The beach here is stoney, so not the most comfortable, but still a great option.

Just over an hour from London St Pancras station lies beautiful Cambder Sands. Long stretches of golden sands and dunes with marram grass.
